Our children are getting more pleasure in their PlayStation III than that of a football match in the field. We eat what we like giving least attention to our body’s actual needs. We are restless, sleepless and downright careless about the lives we are living! This scenario is perfect for many diseases to settle in our bodies. Obesity is just one them. Careless life style that involves unplanned diets and absence of physical activities result in obesity. While we are eager to trim out weight primarily for a smarter look, the evils of obesity are manifold. Obesity alone can spawn deadly diseases like diabetes, heart disease, certain types of cancer, high/low blood pressure, osteoarthritis and strokes.</p>

<p>So it is amply clear that obesity is neither desired nor accepted by us. We always want to shred off the extra weight from the standard Body Mass Index (BMI) to look smarter and live healthier. <p>&#8220;I need to lose weight&#8230;fast.&#8221; I get that statement all the time from training clients, or just random people who find out what I do for a living.</p>
<p>Everybody wants to know how to lose weight fast, and there is no shortage of crooks out there who will tell you how to do it.</p>
<p>The only problem is they&#8217;re probably lying to you. Selling you some magic pill or fad diet that won&#8217;t do anything but make you go to the bathroom (which is I&#8217;m sure what you really want) or make your wallet lighter.</p>
<p>But is there a way to lose weight fast?</p>
<p>Is it possible to lose weight fast and keep it off?</p>
<p>There are ways, but you have to be consistent and understand that you have to work to keep the weight off and understand that there&#8217;s no such thing as a magical cure all. There&#8217;s no pill, powder or potion you can take that will make you lose lots of weight instantly without changing the way you live.</p>
<p>It just isn&#8217;t possible.</p>
<p>However, there are small changes you can make that will help you lose fat fast and well on your way to you goal.</p>
<p>1. Cardio</p>
<p>That&#8217;s the obvious one. But don&#8217;t do what you&#8217;re thinking I&#8217;m going to tell you. Do not head to the treadmill and decide you&#8217;re going to do nothing but cardio for the next 90 minutes and do it every day of the week. That&#8217;s just ridiculous. There&#8217;s no need for it. Yes, cardio is very important if you want to lose fat fast, but it&#8217;s not going to help if you do nothing but live on the treadmill for the next couple of months.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t need to spend that much time doing your cardio, and some people I tell not to even consider doing it. There are exceptions, but the majority of people I train I instruct them to do interval training for their cardio. It gets them done with their cardio in as little as 15 minutes, it&#8217;s not as hard on the joints and it sure as heck isn&#8217;t as boring.</p>
<p>When it comes down to it, interval training just means that you mix bouts of higher intensity exercise with bouts of lower intensity exercise. Take the stationary bike for example. After you warm-up, mix bouts of harder riding for 30 seconds for bouts of easy riding for 60 seconds and repeat for about 10 minutes, then cool down and it&#8217;s done.</p>
<p>2. Stop drinking calories.</p>
<p>No coffee drinks, no sodas (regular or diet), no sweetened teas, no alcohol, no liquid calories at all. Anytime you have a drink with your meal, it should be something that has zero calories, and I&#8217;m sorry but I diet soda cannot fit in this category even though it has zero calories. Diet soda can actually hinder your fat loss goals and may make you gain weight.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve had clients lose upwards of 5 pounds in a week just by getting rid of their liquid calories.</p>
<p>You can too.</p>
<p>3. Resistance Training</p>
<p>You have to work your muscles if you want to lose fat fast. It&#8217;s just that simple. However, that doesn&#8217;t mean you can spend the entire time working your &#8220;beach muscles&#8221; or by doing thousands upon thousands of crunches.</p>
<p>You have to spend your time doing full body workouts and full body exercises. Also, given that you want your workouts to be done quickly, you should do more supersets or mini-circuits rather than just doing one exercise at a time.</p>
<p>Pair exercises like push-ups or chest presses with a lower body exercise like a squat or lunge. That superset alone works virtually every muscle in your entire body, including your abs, and will have you burning fat like crazy.</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll get more done in less time and you&#8217;ll lose a lot more fat.</p>
<p>4. Meal timing</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t save all your calories for one meal. Eating too many calories in one sitting will make you gain fat, not lose it. You&#8217;ve got to spread your calories out over the day and keep your body fed, while not over consuming. That&#8217;s how you lose weight fast.</p>
<p>Also, make sure you eat a good breakfast that&#8217;s high in protein and limit the amount of food you eat after your last meal of the day. This is prime snacking time and it&#8217;s when most people, who eat perfectly all day long, totally ruin their fat loss goals. They eat perfectly all day, then night time rolls around, they&#8217;re watching television, they&#8217;re bored and they head for the refrigerator or cupboard and grab some snacks. Say good bye to your fat loss and hello to more fat!</p>
<p>There you have it. Follow those 4 tips and you will lose weight fast. Give them a try starting right now. Not tomorrow, right now. Do it and you will be well on your way to accomplishing your fat loss goals.</p>

<p>Now, you are wondering what your personality has to do with weight loss. Actually a lot! You know how you react to pressure, how you act in certain circumstances etc. All this will play a role in the diet you have to choose. If you are able to stick to a very strict routine a diet that is very set will do for you. Other people may not be able to do that and will have to have a diet that is more flexible. As an example, on the Atkins Diet, cheating will make you gain weight, quite a lot, whilst on a calorie controlled diet, a cheat will only set you back a little for the one day and the next you can just carry on losing weight.</p>

<p>This, I think, is easy to understand. You have to make sure that the food you will have to eat on the diet is not something you hate. If you cannot stand certain kinds of food, trying an eating plan that has a lot of it in it, is obviously not going to work.</p>
<p>5. How often you like to eat:</p>
<p>It is no use to try and follow a diet that forces you to eat when you are not hungry and forbids you to eat at the times you are on your hungriest. Here you have to be realistic. Even though eating breakfast is always recommended, for some it is impossible and it only makes them even hungrier the rest of the day. For some eating their main meal in the middle of the day is best and some has to have it in the evening. (I&#8217;m one of those; I&#8217;m at my hungriest in the evening!)</p>

<p>How fit you are, how much exercise you are able to do, obviously play a role. If you are not fit at all a diet that insists on you exercising to lose weight is not going to work. You will first have to lose some weight, do some very moderate exercise until you are fitter and only then can serious exercise become part of your weight loss routine. On the other hand, if you already do a lot of exercise, you will need a diet that supplies you with the necessary energy to do it.</p>

<p>The world is getting larger and larger, and I am not talking about the circumference of the planet. Many people have a weight problem, and it is becoming almost an epidemic health issue. There have been so many diets and exercise plans that have failed for so many people, myself included, that one begins to wonder if there is truly a healthy way to lose weight. If you&#8217;re really serious about this endeavor, you have to put the gimmicks aside and do it the old-fashioned way.</p>
<p>If you want a healthy way to lose weight, you have to visit your doctor. You should first rule out any medical conditions that you may have, and ask your doctor for advice specific to your medical history. There are some conditions that make it harder to lose, and if you have one of these conditions it is important that you know before you begin any diet. There will be no healthy way to lose weight if you don&#8217;t know what you&#8217;re up against.</p>
<p>For example, if you have polycystic ovarian syndrome, or any other related medical condition, you are going to have a harder time losing weight. There may be specific medications you must be on in order to get your system working properly. Once you are on these medications you should be able to lose weight like everyone else.</p>
<p>We all know that you have to cut calories to diet. However, if you want a healthy way to lose weight, you have to know how many calories you should cut. Many people start out cutting way too many, and they quickly fall off of their diet. Diets work best when calories are in moderation, but are never cut down too far. <p>There is so much talk these days about how to lose fat weight.  We get bombarded on a daily basis with advertisements, magazine and newspaper articles, product marketing, and more telling us all the various ways about how to lose fat weight.  Despite what many of the ads, products, and articles may say, there is only one tried and true method that will help us to lose fat weight.  It is through diet and exercise.  And while the diet plays a major role in fat loss, exercise is a key factor in helping you to reach your weight loss goal.</p>
<p> 
<p>There a two ways to exercise that will help you to get the results you want.  If you are looking to drop some pounds, applying these methods is how to lose the fat weight you want to lose.   One method involves time. If you have the time to spend multiple hours exercising through the day, the result of the calories burned over the course of that time will help you to lose fat weight. This assumes that the contribution of the calories burned helps create a overall caloric deficit. This occurs when the total calories consumed in a day are less than those that were burned and used as energy by your body.  </p>
<p> 
<p>Exercising in this manner doesn&#8217;t require a high level of intensity.  Keeping your heart rate at 55% to 65% of its maximum qualifies as low intensity.  Maintaining a low intensity effort yet performing the exercise for an extended period of time will use primarily fat stores as an energy source.  Your goal should be to burn 300 to 500 calories per workout depending on your diet.  Accomplishing that total caloric burn using this method would take approximately 3 to 4 hours, and possibly a little more depending on how much you limit your intensity level.  </p>
<p> 
<p>The second, and sometimes more preferred method of exercising to lose fat weight is to increase the level of intensity of the workout.  Doing so abbreviates the amount of time that is necessary to workout in order to achieve the desired goal caloric burn.  A high intensity workout would typically be one where the heart rate is approximately 70% to 80% or more of  maximum during the exercise.  A workout at this effort would cut the necessary exercise time essentially in half.  The energy sources used in this type of workout are carbohydrate and fat stores.   </p>
<p> 
<p>One thing to remember is that no matter which energy source is used as fuel for the body to workout, it still takes burning 3500 calories to lose one pound of fat.  So regardless of the energy source used, it still requires that specific amount of caloric deficit to lose one pound of fat weight.    Following a good diet and applying these two principles of exercise is the real answer to how to lose fat weight</p>

<p>The way to lose weight fast is based on food choices, proportions and realistic aims.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s a healthy diet?</p>
<p>As there are now endless variety of diets it&#8217;s difficult to know exactly what is healthful and what isn&#8217;t.</p>
<p>To understand, let&#8217;s examine the basics regardless of the type of diet you follow.</p>
<p>Carbohydrate: 50-60%,</p>
<p>Protein: 10-20%</p>
<p>Fats Up to 30%.</p>
<p>This mix is accepted widely apart form &#8220;the far out diet community&#8221;, that go on about no fat or no carbohydrate and the way to lose weight.</p>

<p>4. Variety.</p>
<p>All healthful diets have a minimum of 40 to 100 different food-types weekly.</p>
<p>Obviously the reason for this is by including a wide-variety of foods increases your chances of obtaining the required amounts of essential nutrients.</p>
<p>Foods are vitamin and mineral composition is food-specific and you need variety to get all the nutrients.</p>
<p>A good variety also keeps you from becoming bored and disinterested in lose weight fast diet and quitting before you have achieved your aim</p>
<p>Vegetables and Fruits</p>
<p>This means eating fruits and vegetables at least 5 times a day.</p>
<p>This can include frozen, canned, dried and pure juices as well as fresh. Also included in this group are beans, including baked beans, pulses and lentils.</p>
<p>Carbohydrates</p>
<p>Your diet should also include 5 portions of carbohydrates daily.</p>

<p>This will include milk; yoghurt and cottage cheese are included in this group, but not butter and cream.</p>
<p>Serving sizes in this group vary, depending on how concentrated the food is, e.g. 1 serving of milk is 175 ml, a serving of yoghurt is 125g and a serving of cheese is 50g.</p>
<p>Stick to these portions and go for low fat varieties i.e. skimmed or semi skimmed milk.</p>
<p>Animal Protein &#38; Alternatives</p>
<p>2-4 servings daily choose low fat if your healthful eating plan is for losing weight. This group includes eggs, poultry, and meat and fish.</p>
<p>If any of these are processed food products they can be high in fat.</p>
<p>You must be very careful of processed foods. Also in your natural animal protein trim visible fat from meat and poultry.</p>
<p>Alternatives are non-meat sources of protein such as nuts, tofu, mycoprotein, textured vegetable protein (TVP) and kidney beans.</p>
<p>Fats &#38; Sugars</p>
<p>Try to eat good fats and avoid sugar. Remember saturated fats are bad unsaturated fats are good.</p>
<p>The foods that are high in bad fat and/or sugar are butter, margarine, oil, mayonnaise, cream, crisps.</p>
<p>Soft carbonated drinks, sweets and jams are also high in sugar.</p>
<p>Foods that are high in both fats and sugars are cakes, chocolate, biscuits, pastries and ice-cream.</p>
<p>However, a healthful diet does include fat.</p>
<p>These should as stated be only unsaturated fat e.g. olive, sunflower and corn oil.</p>
<p>You have heard about the benefits of oily fish, make sure you get at least 3 portions a week. They contain omega 3 and are great for overall health. Good sources include: Mackerel, sardines and salmon</p>
<p>The secret of losing it and keeping it off</p>
<p>The real way to lose weight fast is to lose weight at a steady pace and not crash diet, as the only way to lose weight fast longer term is to make sure you keep it off and losing weight fast means being realistic</p>
